After a three day hackathon, the quantum science community came up with creative ideas to communicate key topics in their field

This is the online legacy of that event

Many creative ideas emerged, using mediums like interactive public theatre, video games, poetry, graphic design, digital media projections and many more!

  • Quantum Church

What would a church founded on misinformation about quantum science look like? This team used interactive public theatre to provoke reflections about the sensationalist and radical side of quantum science in the media

  • Quantum Games

A video game, darts and tennis balls… what could these possibly have to do with understanding the state of the art of quantum computing? This team used gamification to communicate their ideas, inviting the public to play their way through the journey from where quantum computing started to where it might go next

  • Quantum Algorithm

Can you use helium for quantum phase estimation?

What might that mean for our understanding of cryptography, finances and chemistry?

  • Quantum Art

We had a live graphic recording artist, Esther Blodau, work with our teams to capture beautiful story boars of their concepts

  • Quantum Poetry

A new anthology of poems derived from peer-reviewed academic physics articles

  • Quantum Nest

An immersive digital media experience by Goethe Institut’s Afra Khan
