Graphic Recording Artist, Esther Blodau, joined us to help our teams picture their ideas. She created three beautiful story boards of the teams’ concepts.

Quantum Games

Esther used inspirations from their game of darts, the shape of an atom and Schrödinger's cat to narrate us through their idea

The first team used gamification to communicate the potential and limitations of quantum computing

Quantum Church

Esther used the two-sided coin analogy to compare being empowered by quantum science, or threatened by it, showing it too is subjected to polarisation in the media

This team used public theatre as a medium to highlight misinformation, sensationalism and fake news about Quantum Science

Quantum Algorithm

They explored how to use simple quantum concepts to build complex algorithm

This team took on the more technical challenge of quantum phase estimation
